A game I made for Newgrounds Halloween 2007. The famous game's remake (Asteroids) with updated Pumpkin style. Shoot, survive, collect points. Save the Halloween spirit by killing the evil Pumpkins. Further instruction within game. The music is from Pinball Fantasies, the great Amiga game. Have Fun!
How to Play
Use the arrow keys or WASD to rotate and thrust your spaceship through the dark void. Press up to accelerate forward, and the spacebar to fire your blaster. Use a hyperspace key to teleport away if you get cornered. Your objective is to blast every evil pumpkin asteroid into smaller pieces, then destroy those too, racking up points as you survive the Halloween onslaught. Watch your momentum since the ship drifts in zero gravity, and avoid getting boxed in by groups of pumpkins. Take out smaller, faster pumpkins first because they are harder to dodge. Save the Halloween spirit and aim for a high score before they overwhelm you.
